I have been so impressed with Brian’s dedication to improving his health during the Summer Shape Up Challenge! Week after week he consistently works to build healthy habits through earning nearly all of his points each day. He’s seeing some amazing results because of his hard work!
Brian has dropped nearly 23 pounds and 10 inches in the past 5 weeks. These kinds of results do not just happen through lackadaisical workouts, eating junk and over-indulging in sweets. This level of success is dependent on many factors (initial weight, medical issues, etc.) but most importantly it depends on commitment; a commitment to putting health as a priority, to making decisions daily that reflect those health goals and a perseverance to stay consistent with those choices.
Staying committed is not an easy thing, but it is doable and worth continuing to work towards, even if you make mistakes and are imperfect along the way. Your success will be different than Brian’s because your goal will vary from his, but your success will remain dependent upon your level of commitment to your goal, just as his is and mine is and everyone else’s.
