I know there are a lot of people who believe in detoxing occasionally to rid their body's of toxins or cleanse their insides. They may have some valid arguments as to why this is "healthy" (although there is very little scientific proof to back those arguments); however, I just can't do it. I enjoy chewing my food which means that drinking smoothies or juicing for 3-5 days straight is out of the question. And I enjoy variety, so eating cabbage soup for a week to drop a few pounds and dump some toxins isn't super tempting eithe...
