I love fresh fruit.  I truly believe that most days, it can stand all on it's own to satisfy my sweet cravings, but there are those other days when I just want a little extra flavor to go along with my apple or banana.  As much as I would love to allow myself to gorge on a vat of caramel dip....deep down I just know it won't end well if I do.  Oh,I can just hear Valerie now..."DON'T DO IT!".  So began my quest to find a flavorful addition to satiate my current snack attacks.  I had 3 personal requirements for such a find.  It had to be:

Packed with Protein

Flexible

I want a recipe that can be changed according to my mood...add a dash of this...a pinch of that...

EASY!!

Ain't nobody got time for crazy complicated stuff!

I first found this recipe over at Little Cook in the Big City blog, but was in a hurry later in the week and forgot what all was in it!  For some reason I thought it was just a 2 ingredient (I wasn't far off) recipe and ended up making the dip with only 1 part vanilla Greek yogurt and 1 part creamy peanut butter.  I thought it was GREAT and packed with protein!  Win-Win!  Fortunately, I did go back and take the time to try the recipe again as written and I'm just as pleased with the result, if not more delighted, in fact.  The cinnamon can be adjusted to your taste.  I personally, don't think the honey is even necessary, but adds a nice touch.  Overall, this was a great sweet fix and I will definitely be making it again!
