"I have been doing the Lifetime Wellness Challenge for a little over a year now. I have seen so much success since I started it in August 2012. I have lost 30 lbs and 19.75 inches. I have felt the difference that being healthy makes. I have learned to love fruits and vegetables more that sweets. Don't get me wrong, I still have moments of weakness, but nowhere near what I used to. I have learned to make exercise a vital part of my day, and the same with my water intake. My husband and kids see a difference when I don't get those things and support me in my quest to be healthier. I have become a runner in the last year, a runner with a goal!
My greatest success this last challenge has been getting back to where I was after an injury at the end of the last challenge. I have been trying to train for my first half marathon and managed to hurt my ankle. It's been slow getting back to where I was before the injury. Sometimes it felt like I was back at square one, but I have steadily made progress and am very close to being back to where I was. Actually, I think I've come back stronger!
