We just posted the FINAL RESULTS for the Holiday challenge and are thrilled to announce that as a group, you lost 306 pounds and 214 inches over the past 8 weeks!  That is incredible and we are so proud of the results of your hard work.  This is NOT something that can be accomplished by Dianne and I.  We merely provide the platform, but YOU do all the WORK.  So, kudos to those of you who sincerely made an effort to earn your daily habits points and saw results...and now the REALLY hard work begins.

Yep, this is not the end.  In fact, it is just the beginning.  You may be tempted to leave the healthy habits behind and celebrate your success with rewards like cheesecake or brownies for breakfast and a few days of sleeping in and skipping your workouts.  And salads for lunch?  That's crazy talk.  Why eat your veggies when you don't "have" to??  

Please, please PLEASE don't succomb to these thoughts.  You did work hard and you do deserve a reward.  Just make sure that it is something that won't sabotage your recent success.  Go get your nails done or buy a new pair of jeans or treat yourself to a movie night with friends.  Plan a day all to yourself and enjoy a relaxing afternoon reading.  Take a day off work or buy yourself a new water bottle or sports bra.  Do something you love with someone you love and leave food out of the equation.  

We've all been down the yo-yo weight loss road.  We lose a few pounds, start to slack off and then gain it all back.  It's not fun and you will regret losing your momentum if you let your guard down now.  Keep living the daily habits and stay focused on your long term goals.  

For those of you who would like some extra accountability, we have a private Facebook group that we'd love to invite you to if you're looking for encouragement and support while you're on a break.  Let us know if you're interested in that group, so we can send you an invite. 

We've also opened Early Bird Registration for the January 2015 challenge.  The early bird discount is only available thru December 17th, so don't wait to register if you're planning to participate.  You'll save 25% off the registration fee this week, so if you know anyone who you think might be interested in Lifetime Wellness Challenge, be sure to share this with them as well.  We will be offering Team (4 people), Buddy (2 people) and Individual challenges, so there's something for everyone.
