Since the weekly bonus is to get in those interval workouts, I decided to branch out from my usual run or bike interval work and found these 2 HITT (high intensity interval training) workouts on Pinterest. Go figure. ;)
I started out doing 4 sets of this and really felt my heart rate elevate during the air jacks and the burpees. It took me about 20-25 minutes to complete the 4 sets.

After completing those first 4 sets I thought, hey, why not try ANOTHER interval workout as well? So I'm not sure why I thought that was a fabulous idea, but that's indeed what I did. I completed 2 sets of the following:

And oh boy! did I ever feel it! Those star jacks and jumping lunges were BRUTAL! I'm sure my fatigue was partly from having already done 20 minutes of intervals but mostly I think it was from a full 60 seconds of the INTENSE exercises. If you're looking for a good burn and to get your heart 'a pumping then give this one a try!!
