Exercise is my secret "Mood Enhancer"

I spend a LOT of time in front of a computer.  And when I'm not staring at a computer praying for some motivating inspiration to pass on to you, I'm frantically trying to do dishes, clean my house, fold laundry, help with homework, make meals and run kids to soccer games.  I'm guessing that many of you live a similar reality.  Do you ever feel like you are about to either lose your mind, go completely crazy and stand in the middle of your disaster of a house and scream or give up entirely, sit on a pile of laundry that needs to be folded on your couch and cry?  Sadly, this happens way too often around here; however, I have found that the best way for me to deal with the built up stress and anxiety...is to take an hour and EXERCISE.

Lucky for me, I generally get to take a break from my kids during this hour.   I know that's not the case for everyone, and I can see how trying to wrangle kids while sweatin' it out to the oldies or to P90X or while out on a run can add to the chaos.  But for me, there is something very therapeutic and calming about taking a few minutes everyday to release the tension and do something for myself.  I come home ready to take on the world...I find that I am less grumpy, less irritable and less negative.  And I have more energy, more motivation, more patience, more positivity, more fun and more smiles.  My day runs more smoothly and I'm a much happier wife and mother.  Exercise is what I use to let go of the stress, get rid of my defeatist attitude and where I find my strength...I mean, if I can take on a 6 mile run or a 60 minute CrossFit class, a mountain of stinky socks, constantly bickering kids and windows smeared with jam can't stop me!

What do you do to change your attitude when it's getting as crusty as the dishes piling up in my sink right now?
